Rincon & Effingham County
Rincon & Effingham County

Effingham County was founded as one of the original counties in Georgia during the Revolutionary War. After enduring slow growth before the civil war, the county began to take on a new life as a railroad town due to the proximity to the Savannah River, which is also the state border with South Carolina. This location made it an ideal railroad town to feed the growing city of Savannah and its port.

Rincon became a city in 1927 and has been growing steady since then, however since the late 90’s it has seen rapid growth as a suburb of Savannah.

Many flock here to have a more peaceful life and get out of the hustle of city life. Rincon maintains it’s small town feel, just check out the community support for its schools and sports teams! Retail and Restaurant chains have begun populating the county. I will be glad to help you find the right home for your family.
